RESNA Exam Review Course

This 8-hour (0.8 CEU) online course is designed for Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers, Clinicians, and others preparing for the RESNA ATS or ATP Generalist Exams. The course is specifically intended to review content areas of the exam to assist participants in identifying their strengths and deficits in preparing a plan of study. Materials and resources to study for the exam will also be shared and discussed. 

The course will address the process of providing Assistive Technology intervention including assessment of need, development of intervention strategies, and implementation of follow-up by covering the following:

• basics of anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology
• seating and wheeled mobility
• principles of design and development
• technologies for persons with sensory impairments
• AAC, EADL, and computer access technologies
• service delivery
• test taking strategies

How this On Line Course Works

Once you register (see below), you will receive an email with the course website and a password which is good for 15 days.  Once you login you can view the courses and download copies of the handouts as well as the course evaluation which needs to be completed and returned in order to receive CEUs.  Attendees also have the ability to send email messages with questions to the lecturers. 

The lectures use a program called Mediasite Live where you can see and hear the lecturer as well as a the power point presentation.  Watching a presentation using the MSL Viewer is virtually the same as being in the room with the presenter.  All lectures are available on-demand anytime during the 15 days.

Upon viewing the webinar, complete the course evaluation and return it to us and we will send you a certificate certifying that you attended the seminar.
